The Edition Hotel Bodrum

The Edition Hotel Bodrum

Located in Tilkicik Bay, the hotel project consists of 93 rooms, meeting rooms, ballroom, bars, restaurants, spa and fitness areas.

It is part of the EDITION Hotels brand and is the result of a collaboration between Marriott International and Ian Schrager.

Its closed area is approximately 20,000 square meters and it is spread over 21 decares of land. The buildings consist of 3 hotel blocks, 8 villas and a social facility block with an indoor area of 7000 square meters. Due to the terrain, there is a 42-meter level difference between the sea level and the entrance to the hotel. The buildings are placed on the elevations so that all rooms dominate the sea view.

The land is limited by natural stone walls and it is planned to provide transportation within the land only by golf carts and pedestrian roads. It will also be possible to reach the sea via zodiac boats from the pier to be found within its structure.

As Otimsan, we offer solutions for the visual, signage and orientation of qualified buildings, from design to assembly.

Orientation design projects are projects that include visual and physical elements designed to facilitate and direct the movement of people inside or outside a space or structure. These designs are used to help people find their way from one place to another, to make it easier to reach certain points or goals, and to improve the overall user experience.

Space design is important for the good development of architectural spaces. The area is a space that needs to be defined, and in the phase from ancient times to the present, space designs that reflect cultures, in which both personal and social relations are intertwined, have been formed. Today, the routing designer combines his unique communication, visual and symbolic languages with a wide variety of practices to reveal the routing design examples seen in the urban and architectural field.
Designers have started to produce projects in the architectural and urban areas by using the materials and design powers they have. This has created a new field, the concept of environmental graphic design.

Routing is the exchange of information between communication senders and receivers, and communication design plans by which means and how this action should be done. In order to provide better communication between people and places, routing design, environmental graphic design and signage design, which are a new expansion, have emerged.

Directions create the character of a building and give us clues as to what's inside. In other words, although we may not notice it, these objects, which are mostly produced in two dimensions, affect our decisions.

Typographic qualities are as important as the material quality of a sign. Each typeface has a different feel.
